16 blind types, all made to measure
Whether you're after something simple or something specific, every type below is made to your exact measurements and fitted by our own team. Nothing off-the-shelf.
Fabric vanes hang vertically and tilt or draw to one side. The go-to choice for large windows and patio doors.
Learn more ›Fabric rolls cleanly into a cassette at the top. Simple, practical, and available in blackout, light-filtering, and screen options.
Learn more ›Fabric folds stack up neatly when raised. Softer look than most other types, well-suited to living rooms and bedrooms.
Learn more ›Real wood slats that tilt and raise. They add warmth to any room, but aren't suited to bathrooms or humid spaces.
Learn more ›Made for roof windows and sloped glazing. Tensioned cords keep the blind in position against angled glass.
Learn more ›Lets daylight in while cutting the view from outside. A practical choice for street-facing windows and home offices.
Learn more ›Alternating sheer and opaque bands. Shift the two layers to choose your balance of light and privacy, at any time of day.
Learn more ›Looks like real wood but handles moisture properly. Kitchen and bathroom-friendly, and more resistant to warping.
Learn more ›Slim slats in a wide range of colours. Wipe-clean, moisture-resistant, and tidy in smaller windows where fabric can feel heavy.
Learn more ›A fabric structure with trapped air pockets that slow heat loss. Noticeably better insulation than most standard blind types.
Learn more ›Wipe-clean PVC vanes that are harder-wearing than fabric alternatives. Popular in conservatories and commercial settings.
Learn more ›Concertina-fold fabric that stacks flat when raised. One of the few types that works reliably on odd-shaped or angled windows.
Learn more ›Opens from the top, the bottom, or both at once. Lets in light from above while keeping the lower half covered from the street.
Learn more ›Heavy blackout fabric in a roller format. Designed to block as much light as possible, though some edge bleed is normal with any fabric blind.
Learn more ›Clips directly into the window bead with no drilling. Works on internally-beaded uPVC frames only, but gives an extremely neat finish.
Learn more ›Mounts within the window frame itself. Keeps the recess tidy and uncluttered, with no hardware visible on the surrounding wall.
Learn more ›Every room has different needs
A bedroom blind isn't the same job as a kitchen blind. The priorities are different, the materials are different, and the right fit matters more than people expect. Use these to start in the right place.
Usually about balancing light and privacy. Day & Night, Roller and Roman all work well, depending on the look you're after.
Browse options ›Blackout is the priority for most people. Getting the fit right matters too. Any gap at the sides lets light through at 6am.
Browse options ›Moisture-resistant fabrics and wipe-clean materials only. Wooden blinds warp in humid rooms, so we'll steer you away from that choice at the survey.
Browse options ›Wipe-clean is non-negotiable. Blinds above the hob and sink take a lot of steam and the occasional splash. They need to handle it.
Browse options ›Blackout for nap times, cordless operation as standard, and something hard-wearing enough to survive daily use. Not the place to cut corners.
Browse options ›Aesthetics tend to carry more weight here than pure function. Roman and Wooden Venetian styles suit the space well.
Browse options ›Roof and wall together, often with angled glass. Solar fabrics cut glare without blocking the view and are worth the investment in a conservatory.
Browse options ›Screen fabrics cut monitor glare without blocking natural light entirely. Usually white or neutral, and easier to keep clean than fabric alternatives.
Browse options ›Bay windows, bi-folds, skylights and more
The window type dictates what will actually fit and work properly. Start here if your windows aren't straightforward.
Angled or box-style bays need individual blinds per pane, fitted to the exact angle. Getting this right makes a significant difference to the finish.
Browse options ›Full-height vertical blinds or a specialist door panel system that doesn't swing with the door when it opens.
Browse options ›Specialist pleated systems that follow the curve of arched and shaped windows. Not every blind works here. This one does.
Browse options ›Perfect Fit is the cleanest solution for tilt and turn windows. It clips into the bead and moves with the window when you tilt it open.
Browse options ›Door-mounted or top-fixed, depending on how often you open them. We'll advise the right approach at the survey.
Browse options ›One wide blind or vertical sections, depending on which way the doors stack. Needs to clear completely when the doors are open.
Browse options ›Shop by what matters to you
Sometimes you know exactly what the blind needs to do, but you're not sure which type delivers it. Start here.
PVC, aluminium, and specialist coated fabrics that handle steam, splashes, and condensation properly. For bathrooms, kitchens and conservatories.
See waterproof options ›Honeycomb fabric traps air and slows heat loss at the glass. Worth it if you have draughty windows or a room that's hard to heat.
See thermal options ›Screen fabrics and Day & Night styles let light in while blocking the view from outside. Effective during the day, less so at night with lights on inside.
See privacy options ›Fabrics tested to BS 5867 Part 2. Required in many commercial spaces and some rented residential properties. We can advise what's needed.
See fire resistant options ›Cordless operation or tensioned cord systems built into the blind, not bolted on as an afterthought. The safest options are cordless by design.
See child safe options ›Fabrics made from recycled materials or sustainably sourced yarns. Available across several blind types, with thermal options that reduce energy use too.

Why our blind service is right for you
Most companies sell blinds. We measure, make, and fit them with our own team. That's a different thing.
One team does everything
The same people who take your measurements make your blinds and come back to fit them. No third-party fitters showing up with blinds they've never seen before.
Free home survey, no pressure
We come to you, look at the windows properly, and give you a quote. No obligation to go ahead. No hard sell when we arrive or when we leave.
The number on the quote is the number on the invoice. We don't add extras on installation day. What you're quoted at the survey is what you pay.
Made to your exact measurements
Not the nearest standard size. Your windows, your measurements, blinds cut and built to the actual opening. It's why they fit properly and look right.
Child-safe as standard
Every blind we fit meets current child safety regulations. Most of our range is cordless by design. Where cords are used, safety devices are included.
North East & North West coverage
We run our own teams across both regions. Same service, same standards. No postcode lottery on quality or lead times.
How our service works
Four steps. No surprises in any of them.
Pick a time and we'll come to you. No showroom visit, no travelling anywhere. The survey is free with no obligation to go ahead.
Our surveyor measures every window accurately and gives you a fixed price before leaving. That's the number. Nothing gets added to it later.
We make everything in-house. Typical lead time is 10 to 14 days, depending on the type and fabric you choose.
The same team returns to install. Neat, tidy fitting, and we take all the packaging away with us when we're done.

Help me choose the right blind
With 16 types on offer, it's easy to get stuck. These four questions narrow it down fast. Bring your answers to the survey and we'll do the rest.
What's the window doing? A south-facing bedroom window is a different job to a north-facing kitchen window. The orientation and use of the room changes what you actually need.
Is total blackout the priority? If yes, fabric type and fitting method both matter. Even blackout fabric lets light in at the edges if the blind isn't fitted into the frame.
Is there moisture involved? Kitchens, bathrooms, and conservatories need moisture-resistant materials. Wood isn't suitable. Some fabrics handle steam better than others.
Do you have children or pets? Cordless operation removes the hazard completely. It's the right call for rooms used by young children, and the range of cordless options is wider than it used to be.

"Ordered roller blinds for five rooms. The surveyor was thorough, measured everything precisely, and the fitter who came back two weeks later was tidy and quick. The blackout ones in the kids' rooms actually block the light. The fit is the reason. Other companies I've used before left gaps."
"Had wooden venetian blinds fitted in the living room and dining room. They advised against putting them in the kitchen, which was fair enough and good to know before ordering. The ones we did get look exactly right and the price was what they quoted, nothing added at the end."
"Day and night blinds throughout the house. I was sceptical about whether they'd actually give privacy during the day, but with them adjusted correctly they work. The survey visit was useful. They showed me exactly how the mechanism works before we committed to anything."
Frequently asked questions
Can't find the answer here? Call us or book a survey and we'll cover everything in person.
How long does the process take from survey to fitting?
Most orders are fitted within 10 to 14 days of the survey. Specialist products like pleated skylight systems sometimes take a little longer. We'll give you an accurate timeframe at the survey, before you commit.
Is the home survey really free with no obligation?
Yes, genuinely. We come to you, measure up, and give you a quote. If you decide not to go ahead, there's no charge and no follow-up pressure. The survey is free regardless of whether you order.
Do you cover my area?
We cover the North East and North West of England with our own fitting teams. If you're unsure whether your postcode is included, call us and we'll confirm. We're expanding coverage regularly.
Can I get blackout blinds that actually block all light?
Blackout fabric blocks light through the blind itself, but light can still come in at the edges where the blind meets the frame. The tightest fit comes from Perfect Fit or frame-mounted systems. For bedrooms where total darkness matters, we'll show you the options at the survey.
Which blind types work in bathrooms and kitchens?
Aluminium Venetian, Faux Wood Venetian, Roller (with moisture-resistant fabric), Rigid PVC Vertical, and Pleated blinds all handle humid rooms. Wooden blinds are not suitable, as they warp over time. We'll flag this at the survey if it's relevant to your order.
Are your blinds safe for homes with young children?
Yes. Every blind we fit meets current UK child safety regulations. Many types in our range are cordless by design, which is the safest option. Where cords are used, appropriate safety devices are always included. We'll recommend the most appropriate option for each room.
Can you fit blinds on bay windows, bi-folds, and other unusual windows?
Yes, this is a significant part of what we do. Bay windows need individual blinds per pane fitted to the exact angle. Bi-folds need to stack clear when the doors open. Tilt and turn windows suit Perfect Fit systems. We measure for the window type, not against it.
What happens if something goes wrong after fitting?
Contact us and we'll come back. Because we make and fit everything ourselves, there's no back-and-forth between a supplier and an installer. One call to us covers the whole job, from the product to the fitting.
